An index chart is an interactive line chart that shows percentage changes for a collection of time-series based on a selected index point.

Working With Index Charts

Drag an attribute into the "Series" shelf of the layout panel to define which members you wish to plot. Drag an attribute into the "X-axis" shelf to define the criteria for which you want to compare relative change. Note: Index charts are most commonly used with Time Series related attributes on the X-axis to compare relative change before and after a given point in time Drag a measure into the measure shelf.		Mouse over the chart to set the focus for which the relative comparisons will calculated and displayed
