Intangible Contributions

Unknown macro: {scrollbar}

Intangible contributions don't necessarily follow a process. They tend to be ongoing or unexpected acts of generosity from the community for the Pentaho project. Some examples are:

  • A forum thread that is so compelling, it gets turned into a technical article.
  • A community member that has more helpful forum posts than you do.
  • A community member registers an international domain for us, then donates it.
  • Someone blogs about Pentaho is a positive/productive/constructive manner.

It is every Pentaho team member's responsibility to remain aware and help identify these contributions. When you suspect you have identified a worthy candidate, send a note to the Community Leader including the contributor's information and a short synopsis of the contribution. It is the Community leader's responsibility to investigate and follow through with the contributor.
